Requirement Gathering

For the successful and timely completion of the web application iSummation Technologies will adapt its time tested web application development model. This methodology has been successfully employed by us over hundreds of successful projects delivered by us.

The phases that outline this approach are described below.

Requirement Gathering Process:

During this phase we will dedicate resources to understand the inherent requirements of the application. This process may include any/all of the following:

  • Telephonic conversations with the project stakeholders
  • In person interviews with the project stakeholders
  • Quizzes and Questionnaires to get insight on less conspicuous requirements
  • Review of documents or process diagrams (if available)
  • Analogous requirements from our past experience

This phase will include a lot of communication between our consultants and the site stakeholders. Since requirement gathering is the building block for successful planning, all activities will be conducted in close scrutiny of the client authorities.

Output:

A ‘Requirements Specifications Document’ that details all the functional and technical requirements for the application. This document will be submitted to the client for sign-off. Any changes recommended will be discussed and incorporated upon mutual agreement. Once the RSD attains sign off the project will be ready to move to the next phase.
