ECMS Solution for Event Management Firm

IIRME is the Middle east branch of a renowned international events management company. Currently using a legacy CMS application, they have decided to avail the services of iSummation technologies for the technology migration initiative.

The enterprise content management solution provided by iSummation technologies will be customized according to the requirements of the client. The ECMS will be handling several sites operated by the management company and will run in multi-user environment.
As per client request, each site admin CMS will be different though the functionality will be same for each. This is enable easy transition of data ownership in case an event is sold off to another firm.

The CMS, a customized version of the enterprise level CMS solution offered by iSummation, will incorporate several features that cater specifically to the event management industry. Some of these include:

1. Affiliates management
2. Event On/Off features
3. Comprehensive banner and panel management
4. Form generator: Helps the users create different forms based on requirements
5. Press releases/ news management
6. Online credit card processing

iSummation panel of experts will supervise the data migration effort. The existing solution is built in ColdFusion. The ECMS will be integrated with te in-house applications.

The new ECMS will be created using ASP.NET web development technology and XHTML, JavaScript as client side scripting languages. The database will be designed in SQL server. The websites will be built in accordance with web standards and pages will be search engine friendly to ensure higher exposure to potential site users.
