Their accommodation network spans over Caribbean, South America and South pacific. 4lastminutlodging is the primary revenue generating website in a family of vacation rentals/lodging websites by Vacations4rentals. It focuses on finding last minute deals and availability on vacation rental properties.
The client wanted a Web application where property owners could register and list their properties and vacationers could search the listed properties for a closest match. The web site had to provide a paid service to the property owners. They could choose from a list payment plans for advertising their property. The listings should have sufficient description of the accommodation along with a link to the pictures of it. The client also wanted a very user friendly admin interface.
The website 4lastminutelodging helps vacationers find last minute rental deals on the internet for free. The searching criteria are location, price, accommodation, availability etc. Each property contains title, URL, short and long description, Rate Information, Calendar Information, No. of rooms, beds and a link to the pictures.
It also offers a paid service to property owners help fill unused dates in the rental by listing them as discount deals to vacationers. Property owners can register in a particular listing plan and add/modify their property listings from time to time. They can also create and modify their profiles. Other features for registered members include Registration acknowledgement e-mails, password retrieval, Membership renewal, Newsletter etc.
The back-end enables the administrator total access to the all features of the site listed. Mass e-mailing facility is provided with ability of choosing selected recipients. Smart reporting enables proper analysis of site data
