A people-first engineering company that happens to be very good at legacy systems.
Naren Patel founded iSummation in 2003 with a straightforward idea: build a technology company where people stay long enough to become expert, so clients get continuity instead of a new account team every year. That decision is why several of our client relationships are older than most software companies.
It also explains our unusual position today. Because we never abandoned the enterprise and legacy work (the mainframes, the ColdFusion applications, the twenty-year-old systems running something critical), we are one of the few teams that can now apply AI-assisted modernization to them credibly. We know what is inside those systems.
Today we are a team of 75+ across three countries, with an AI practice building autonomous agents and a modernization practice rebuilding the systems those agents need to work with.

Six things worth putting a date against.
Anniversaries are not achievements. These are the six points where the company could do something in December it could not do the previous January.
Founded, and still led by the founder
Two developers in Ahmedabad, building the systems nobody sold off the shelf. Naren Patel has run the company every year since.
Working across twenty-plus countries
Inside two years the client base was international. That reach came from referral rather than from a sales operation, which is the version that lasts.
Genuine depth in mortgage and foreclosure
Not a vertical on a slide. We built and still run the platforms that handle REO portfolios, contractor networks, work orders and invoicing at national scale.
A cloud and data practice, not a bolt-on
AWS and Azure delivery with BI and analytics as a standing capability, so the reporting layer stopped being something bought separately at the end.
Building and running our own SaaS
Multi-tenant product engineering, which is a different discipline from project work: isolation, billing and upgrade paths designed in from the first line.
AI-first across the whole practice
Agents, retrieval and AI-accelerated modernization, applied to the enterprise systems we already knew from the inside. The second part is why the first one works.
Four things that shape how we work.
Outcomes over inventory
We do not lead with a list of forty technologies. We choose what the problem needs and stay current so you do not have to track it.
Say the inconvenient thing
If AI is the wrong answer for your problem, or if an off-the-shelf product beats a custom build, we will tell you before you spend money.
Continuity is a feature
Long tenure inside our team is what allows fifteen-year client relationships. It is a deliberate cost we choose to carry.
Nothing gets abandoned
We still support platforms the industry moved on from. That is not nostalgia, it is why we can modernize them safely.
